Job summary

RTX is hiring for an onsite RF Design professional in Tucson, AZ. You will design transmitters, receivers or exciters and craft CCAs with RF or mixed signals, working in a lab for characterization and integration.

The role requires a STEM Bachelor's and 8+ years' RF experience, with proficiency in RF design tools (HFSS, DX Designer, SystemVue/Genesys, ADS) and the ability to obtain interim security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in RF design, testing, or synthesis.
• Experience with RF design/fabrication, testing and troubleshooting, and RF product simulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Work in a lab to characterize components and verify modules.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical teams across projects.
