Job summary

Acron Aviation seeks a Senior RF Engineer to join the RF Design team in Grand Rapids, MI or Phoenix, AZ for full‑time, in‑person work. You will develop mission‑critical RF systems for ATMSC/TCAS and related avionics, from requirements to hardware implementation, working with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a BS in a related field and 4–9 years’ RF design experience, with strong EM/RF/microwave theory knowledge and RF front‑end expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4–9 years of relevant RF design experience.
• RF design experience for fielded products, preferably in commercial avionics.
• Background in electro‑magnetic (EM) and RF/microwave theory is required.

Responsibilities

• Derive RF hardware requirements from system level specifications.
• Design RF/analog circuits from component level to complete systems.
• Support hardware development, testing, and qualification (DO-160 and MIL-STD).
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and software engineers for multi‑disciplinary design.
