Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Chandler, AZ is seeking an RF Engineer I to join our defense and space focused engineering team. This role performs research, design, and development of RF and mixed‑signal hardware under supervision, contributing to IPT activities and ensuring cost, quality, and customer requirements are met.

The position targets candidates with 0–3 years of experience and coursework in electromagnetics and RF/microwave circuits; familiarity with RF lab equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant work experience
• Completed courses in Electromagnetics, RF & Microwave circuits, Analog and Mixed‑signal design
• Knowledge of signal processing and communications is desirable but not required
• Electronics lab RF equipment experience is desirable

Responsibilities

• Support RF and mixed‑signal hardware design for Defense and Space applications
• Assist with new designs and modernization to meet cost, quality, and customer requirements
• Contribute to end‑to‑end system analysis and RF/mixed‑signal integration testing
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet standards and requirements
