Job summary

Zipline, a leading autonomous logistics company, seeks a Senior RF Desense Engineer to own desense architecture and shielding across aircraft, docks, droids, and ground infrastructure. You will lead RF desense from system architecture to field deployment, working across LTE/5G GNSS Wi‑Fi and other radios to ensure robust receivers in dense RF environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of RF hardware experience in production
• Experience developing shielding architectures from RF circuit level through products.

Responsibilities

• Own RF desense architecture, analysis, mitigation, validation and production support.
• Develop receiver desense budgets and performance requirements.
• Identify and mitigate receiver sensitivity degradation from onboard transmitters and power supplies.
• Analyze interference mechanisms including broadband noise, harmonics, spurious emissions and EMI/EMC.
• Characterize RF coupling paths through PCBs, cables, antennas and enclosures.
• Define shielding strategies to balance size, weight, thermal performance, manufacturability and cost.
• Lead product-level shielding architecture to enable multi-radio operation responsibly.
