Job summary

Garmin seeks a full-time Desense Engineer at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will focus on desense mitigation for Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GNSS, and more, shaping architecture and product-level designs for wireless radios.

Responsibilities include leading multi-radio coexistence optimization, identifying noise sources, and building tools to diagnose RF issues. Strong RF circuit design experience and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in RF circuit design (LTE/UMTS, WiFi, BT, GNSS).
• Alternatively, a Master’s/PhD in Electrical Engineering with RF/antennas focus and 3+ years RF experience.
• Strong academic record (GPA ≥ 3.0) and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF desense optimization across multi-radio platforms.
• Identify aggressor noise sources and propose remedies.
• Develop software tools to diagnose RF root causes.
• Design Cellular RF hardware with impedance matching and layout review.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to optimize RF performance.
