Job summary

DZYNE Technologies LLC. is seeking an experienced Senior RF Engineer in Portland, OR to support on-going and new RF product lines.

The role requires hands-on RF design, simulation, and testing, with collaboration across electronic hardware, firmware, mechanical, and system engineers to optimize RF systems from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in defense/telecom RF, strong PCB design skills, and proficiency with RF test equipment, RF design tools, and scripting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of defense/telecommunications RF experience.
• Strong PCB design and RF layout knowledge.
• Experience with RF simulation tools.
• Hands-on RF test equipment experience.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.
• Strong problem-solving with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, prototype, test, and analyze RF circuits and systems.
• Perform RF tests using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and RF power meters.
• Develop PCB stack-ups and layouts for RF applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components into larger systems.
• Troubleshoot RF performance issues during prototyping and production phases.
• Document design decisions, test plans, methods, and results, and provide reports and recommendations.
