Echodyne seeks an Electronics Debug Technician II in Kirkland, WA to own radar system debug from measurement to root-cause resolution. You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting production goals and driving high-quality radar products for automotive, security, and smart city applications.

The role requires hands-on RF electronics experience and proficiency with RF test equipment, oscilloscopes, and MMC/analogue/digital testing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with micro-electronics printed circuit assemblies in a lab environment.
• Familiarity with ESD equipment and procedures.
• Experience using RF test equipment at microwave frequencies up through Ka-band (40GHz).
• Experience using digital and analog test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Python experience interfacing with test equipment is a plus.
• Experience assessing RF metrics such as return-loss, gain, noise-figure, compression point and bandwidth.
• Experience with I2C and SPI bus protocols, and clock synthesis/distribution.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals and groups.

Responsabilités

• Perform measurements and tests on Echodyne Radar systems to identify root-cause for production test failures.
• Localize failures to the subsystem level for rework and re-entry into production flow.
• Compile and analyze test data, distilling into key performance metrics and presenting results.
• Develop and document debug methodologies for emergent failure modes.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
