Job summary

WHOOP is seeking a Staff RF Engineer to lead the architecture, integration, and delivery of wireless systems powering our wearable products in Boston. You will partner across RF, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and product teams to translate system requirements into robust, production-ready RF solutions.

You will guide RF certification, test methodologies, and production validation while mentoring engineers and elevating design standards. Expect up to 15% travel internationally.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant RF or wireless engineering experience.
• Experience with RF system design, antenna integration, and testing.
• Strong communication and leadership with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF system validation and debugging using lab instrumentation.
• Drive RF circuit design, EM simulation, and system analysis.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, product, and ops teams.
• Define hardware requirements, validation strategies, and production test methods.
• Mentor engineers and communicate risks to leadership.
• Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
