Job summary

The role requires a strong background in RF/Microwave, 15+ years of experience, and proficiency with RF test equipment and nonlinear simulation tools. Base salary is competitive and commensurate with location.

Qualifications

• BS degree required; Masters preferred with focus on RF/Microwave.
• 15+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with RF semiconductors for power amplifiers, LNA, RF switches, attenuators, and filters.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzer, and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to create reference designs through design of matching networks.
• Capable of nonlinear simulation in ADS or MWO.

Responsibilities

• Develop reference designs and implement custom RF matching circuits to optimize application performance.
• Provide technical support for RF front-end products across various communications applications.
• Work with customers and sales team to grow Qorvo’s High Performance RF Solutions business.
• Determine customer requirements and recommend solutions including design-in support for system integration.
• Troubleshooting of customers systems and implementation of Qorvo’s products.
• Collaborate with design team and product line managers to create datasheets, application notes, evaluation boards, and training material.
• Ensure customer requirements are met with new product introductions.
