Job summary

Gallery HQ in-office role seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead the Revit team and advance design standards for autonomous store projects.

You will establish workflows, review complex drawings, and collaborate with engineering, architecture, and construction teams to deliver high-quality design solutions. This role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and rigorous documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years leading and managing design teams, preferably in construction or architectural environments.
• Expertise in Revit with a strong focus on technical design review.
• Experience developing design standards, workflows, and tool implementations.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Revit engineers to deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Establish and implement design standards, practices, and processes to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Interface with clients and vendors to understand project requirements and ensure alignment on design objectives.
• Review all drawing sets for completeness, accuracy, and technical clarity.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and construction teams to develop integrated design solutions.
• Identify and implement tools, software, and systems to streamline design workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Revit engineers and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
