Job summary

Mackenzie Inc. seeks an Architectural Standards Specialist to lead firmwide detailing in Revit, manage libraries and templates, and govern BIM standards. The role reports to Technical Directors and BIM leadership and operates with a mix of independent work and collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years using BIM in architectural design, expert Revit skills, and a bachelor’s degree in architecture. A licensed architect is preferred. Hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years using BIM as an architect/architectural designer preferred.
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• Licensed architect preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and governing construction detailing standards along with Revit templates and content libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, document, and maintain firmwide architectural standard details in Revit in collaboration with Technical Directors and Managers.
• Maintain and evolve Revit family libraries, templates, BIM standards, view/print standards, and version control processes.
• Lead governance of Revit family standards, including naming conventions, metadata structures, and classification systems.
• Coordinate with the Technical Directors/Managers and BIM/CAD Manager to align strategic updates and standards direction.
• Facilitate content migration efforts with minimal disruption to project teams.
