- Expertise in Revit and other design softwares, with a strong focus on technical design review.
- Familiarity with ACC, BIM Collaborate, or Autodesk Vault
- Lead and mentor a team of Revit designers, establishing shared modeling standards, worksharing protocols, and file/model management practices that keep multiple designers working in the same model without conflict or rework.
- Own the company's Revit content library — build, maintain, and govern parametric families to a consistent standard for naming, parameters, level of detail, and versioning, and enforce a controlled process for adding or revising content.
- Coordinate with outside vendors, manufacturers, and consultants to incorporate third-party technical content into designs (equipment models, refrigeration and electrical components, and similar), including validating incoming files for accuracy, geometry quality, and compliance with internal standards before they enter the library.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of design documentation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) design or electrical engineering is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinking and innovation
- Extreme attention to detail and documentation
- Committed to driving process improvements and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to support cross-functional teams
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in leading and managing design teams, preferably in a construction or architectural environment.
- Expertise in Revit and other design software, with a strong focus on technical design review.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement design standards and best practices.
- Experience in identifying and implementing design tools, software, and systems to enhance team efficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
