Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Reverse Engineer/Software Tester to provide 100% on-site support at Arlington, VA for DARPA IPTO. The role requires deep reverse engineering and cybersecurity expertise, including vulnerability research and software analysis.

A TS clearance and SCI eligibility are required, with demonstrated ability to present complex concepts using PowerPoint. The candidate will work within a highly collaborative team, focusing on software program analysis,

Qualifications

BS or higher in computer science, engineering, information, or mathematics.
8+ years in reverse engineering and offensive cybersecurity.
Experience with large language model–based code for analysis, test, and verification.
Deep understanding of software behavior analysis and requirements derivation.
Excellent skills in developing Powerpoint presentations explaining reverse engineering.
Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
Able to report to a DARPA government site in a SCIF at 100% on-site.

Responsibilities

Support technology transition and research management of programs in software analysis, cyber defense/exploitation/attack.
Apply software emulation, vulnerability research, and reverse engineering expertise for cybersecurity tooling.
Lead efforts to implement new and evolving technologies and integrate existing solutions.
Use cyber research tools for reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and testing of cyber solutions.
