Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Reverse Engineer/Software Tester to provide 100% onsite support at DARPA IPTO in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on software program analysis, vulnerability research, and reverse engineering for cybersecurity applications.

You will apply advanced tools, lead integration of new solutions, and work in a SCIF environment with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in computer science, engineering, information, or mathematics related field.
• 8+ years of experience in reverse engineering and offensive cybersecurity with code work.
• Experience with large language model developed code for analysis, test, and verification.
• Deep understanding of software behavior analysis and requirements derivation.
• Excellent skills in developing PowerPoint presentations explaining advanced approaches.
• Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligible.
• Able to report to DARPA government site in a SCIF at 100%/full-time.
• MS degree or higher in related field (desired).
• Experience with telecommunications, cyber operations, and high-speed data processing.
• Experience with DoD applied research and cybersecurity prototypes in operation.
• Experience gathering information from sensitive platforms for intelligence risk assessment.
• Hands-on tactical analytical tools for cyber operations.
• Experience with military cyber operations and transition platforms for operational use.

Responsibilities

• Support technology transition and research management of programs in software program analysis, computer network defense, computer network exploitation, and/or computer network attack.
• Apply software emulation, vulnerability research, and reverse engineering expertise to cybersecurity solutions.
• Lead efforts to implement new technologies and integrate existing solutions.
