Appian seeks a meticulous mid-level accounting professional to manage revenue accounting cycles, support external audits, and collaborate across finance to improve reporting accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at our headquarters in McLean, VA.

The role emphasizes ASC 606 knowledge, ERP proficiency, and cross-functional interaction with Sales Operations and Renewals. A CPA track and NetSuite experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of progressive revenue or corporate accounting experience.
• Proven ability to prepare journal entries and reconciliations, with ASC 606 knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Review customer contracts for software and services revenue and enter into accounting system per ASC 606.
• Support renewal processes by creating opportunities in Salesforce and maintaining renewal reports.
• Assist with month-end close including reconciling revenue accounts, unbilled receivables and deferred revenue.
• Prepare quarterly analysis of current vs long-term unbilled A/R and deferred revenue.
• Assist with audit requests and ad hoc reporting.
