Job summary

Ulteig seeks a Principal Meter Engineer to serve as the technical authority for revenue metering, overseeing design, programming, installation, testing, and certification of three-phase metering systems.

The role develops standards, procedures, and training, mentors engineers, and supports proposals while coordinating with clients and other disciplines. A four-year engineering degree is required, PE preferred, and US work authorization is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Qualified metering SME with proven ability to lead complex revenue metering projects.
• Experience designing, programming, testing, and commissioning metering systems.
• Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, NEC, ISO/RTO metering standards and tariffs.
• Ability to translate client requirements into engineering execution plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead metering project work across engineers and technicians.
• Serve as Client Team Lead for multiple metering clients.
• Develop technical scopes of work, estimates, and resource plans.
