Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree with engineering background or bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in revenue metering.
• Metering Inspector certification preferred (ERCOT EPS, CAISO Authorized Inspector).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, time management, attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, review SLD/3LD, schematics and wiring diagrams for meters.
• Estimate labor/equipment for budgets; guide teammates.
• Prepare specifications for materials or equipment purchases.
• Program revenue and check meters and read data; mentor others.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and certify meters and data recorders.
• Develop and maintain metering standards, trainings, procedures and safety practices.
• Verify wiring and accuracy of meters for commercial/utility-scale sites.
• Investigate metering issues, perform repairs, advise solutions.
• Train engineers and technicians on meter installation using portable test kit.
• Design and review metering panels.
