This senior role combines hands-on accounting with leadership of a small team, focused on compliant, scalable revenue practices. The ideal candidate has CPA, 5+ years in revenue or technical accounting, strong Excel skills, and ERP experience (SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required; public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, or revenue management.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606, revenue disclosures, and audit support.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proven experience managing and developing small teams.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue recognition and accounting under ASC 606, including complex contracts.
• Develop and maintain revenue policies, procedures, and technical memos.
• Review customer contracts with Sales and Legal to assess accounting implications.
• Prepare and oversee revenue reporting, reconciliations, and analyses.
• Lead revenue-related audit preparation, including support for audits and regulator inquiries.
• Strengthen revenue controls, processes, and systems for accuracy and scalability.
• Monitor revenue performance and partner with FP&A on forecasts and variance analysis.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a small accounting or revenue team.
• Serve as cross-functional SME for revenue accounting across Finance, Sales, Legal and Operations.
