Summary

As the Senior Revenue Manager, you will have a central role in assisting with our global revenue accounting function and will report to the Sr Director of Revenue. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of revenue accounting and order-to-cash operations by providing leadership, accounting expertise, and a strong desire to improve processes and controls. We are looking for a talented and passionate individual who is organized with exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and enjoys collaborating with people in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will have two direct reports.

Job Description
  • Leadership & Process Excellence
  • Experience in motivating teams, delegating tasks, and empowering team members. Be hands-on when necessary.
  • Leadership style should be receptive to input, recognize contributions, and lead by example.
  • Proven ability to deliver results and drive performance.
  • Process management skills to organize workflows for scalability and efficiency.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills using rigorous logic and analysis.
  • Strong business acumen to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Revenue Recognition Expertise
  • Manage global revenue accounting operations, focusing on license and subscription revenue streams.
  • Oversee revenue close and reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Analyze contract terms and apply ASC 606 guidance.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Accounting team to ensure compliance and proper revenue recognition.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for operational excellence.
  • Lead quarterly reviews and audits, support SEC reporting.
  • Develop and refine revenue processes for continuous improvement.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in public/private industry, with at least 5 years in revenue recognition.
  • Experience at Big 4 public accounting firm is preferred.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606) and current developments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong time management and self-starter attitude.
  • Experience with system implementations is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
  • Salesforce CPQ experience required; Google Workspace and Oracle Fusion are pluses.

Reporting to: Sr Director of Revenue, Kei Kuramoto

The US base salary range is $138,000 - $224,000 + bonus, equity, benefits. Salary depends on location, skills, and experience.
