Ares Management Corporation in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Associate for the Revenue and Investment accounting team within Corporate Accounting. The role focuses on accounting for fee revenues, investments, and related disclosures, with strong emphasis on accuracy and controls.

The position requires CPA and 4+ years in accounting, preferably with financial services and investment management exposure. Location is New York, full-time with potential bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA required.
• 4+ years of progressive professional accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Financial services experience preferred.
• Exposure to investment management, fund accounting, and SEC reporting strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Account for Performance Fees, Management Fees, Investment Income and other fee streams.
• Account for carried interest allocations to the general partner and incentive compensation programs.
• Perform accounting research and classification of revenue under ASC 323 and ASC 606.
• Account for management fee revenue and reconcile on a quarterly basis.
• Oversee investments portfolio accounting across LP interests, debt, equity, and derivatives, including quarterly valuations.
• Coordinate with SEC team and review quarterly documents and disclosures (10-Q/K, earnings presentations).
• Ensure SOX 404 compliance and maintain internal controls.
