Job summary

Zuora is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Foster City, CA, with a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence three days per week. The role focuses on building scalable, enterprise SaaS applications for the Revenue product and owning components end-to-end.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software development, strong Java/Python skills, and deep database experience, including SQL, MongoDB, and Redis. Cloud, CI/CD, and microservices experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience in enterprise SaaS.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or another object-oriented language.
• Strong database and SQL knowledge including Oracle or MySQL, plus MongoDB/Redis.
• Experience designing and building web applications with REST, gRPC, Thrift APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and operate Zuora’s Revenue product components end-to-end.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs with microservices architecture.
• Mentor engineers and participate in design/code reviews to improve quality.
