Job summary

As a leader, you will supervise staff, ensure accurate records, and collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with third-party payers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework in Business Administration preferred.
• 3+ years in a business office role in healthcare.
• Experience with billing, verification, authorization, and payer relationships.
• Strong revenue cycle and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Explains benefits, negotiates contractual agreements, and implements payment plans with clients and their family members.
• Establishes and maintains controls for all cash collected at the facility level.
• Oversees bank activity and deposits in a timely manner; tracks revenue and denials.
• Collaborates with department leaders to achieve facility goals and participates in daily flash meetings.
• Leads staff through hiring, training, performance reviews, scheduling, and coaching to meet department goals.
• Manages staff scheduling and contingency staffing plans.
• Ensures compliance with client safety, attendance, and code of conduct policies.
• Monitors financial records and assists in month-end close and audits.
