Qualifications

• 3+ years of Business Office experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience in billing practices including verification, certification, authorization, managed care, revenue capture, and payer relationships.
• Strong revenue cycle technical skills required.
• Strong analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Explain benefits, negotiate payment plans with clients and families.
• Establish controls for all cash collected at the facility level.
• Oversee bank activity and deposits to ensure timely revenue collection.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify important issues and achieve facility goals.
• Lead staff through hiring, orientation, performance assessment, and coaching.
• Manage staff scheduling and contingency staffing plans.
• Monitor cash collections, days outstanding, and denials; report trends.
• Coordinate with Utilization Review, Admissions, and insurance authorization teams.
• Support audits, month-end close, and onsite program coverage as needed.
• Process accounts payable weekly (invoices, checks)
