University of the Pacific in San Francisco seeks a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee the clinic's billing, coding, and reimbursement operations. You will direct the end-to-end claims process, manage denials, and lead a team to maximize cash collections while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in dental insurance claims processing and 3+ years of management, with strong knowledge of Medi-Cal, HIPAA, and fee schedules. This is a full-time on-site position in San Francisco.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years related experience.
• 3–5 years dental insurance claims processing experience.
• 3+ years of progressive management experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS rules, Medi-Cal and contracted fee schedules.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Access for reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee all clinic revenue cycle management activities.
• Manage claims lifecycle: entry, submission, payment posting, denials, and appeals.
• Ensure timely billing and reimbursement from Medicare, Medi-Cal, commercial plans and self-pay.
• Monitor KPIs: net/gross collection rate, days in AR, denial rates, and productivity.
• Develop and implement optimized workflows to improve revenue capture and speed.
• Oversee follow-up on unpaid claims and reduce aged receivables.
• Coordinate with vendors, clearinghouses, and insurance representatives.
• Lead budgeting, audits, and compliance with billing regulations.
