Job summary

AdventHealth in Merriam, KS seeks a full-time AR specialist to monitor accounts receivable trends, respond to complex inquiries from patients and payers, and support process improvements using Cerner and MS Office. This daytime role requires strong medical terminology knowledge and prior AR experience.

Join a collaborative team focused on accurate cash collection, timely communications, and adherence to healthcare standards. On-site schedule is 7:00am–4:30pm, four days with rotating day off.

Qualifications

• Medical Terminology required.
• Cerner application experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AR trends and provide feedback to management.
• Answer advanced inquiries from patients, guarantors, insurers, and departments.
• Serve as first point of contact for AR questions and concerns.
• Participate in quarterly industry standards presentations.
• Collaborate with team leaders on process improvements.
• Utilize Cerner and other systems effectively.
• Work with MS Office suite and prioritize tasks.
