Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an Analyst Team Lead to serve as the senior operational resource for the AR Analyst Payer Pod, providing technical expertise and daily guidance on billing, claims resolution, and payer requirements.

The role ensures productivity, quality and compliance while supporting team performance. This position requires mentoring, coaching, and escalation management, with a strong focus on process improvements and revenue cycle performance.

Responsibilities

• Serves as SME for Accounts Receivable processes, billing regulations, payer requirements, and claims resolution.
• Provides day-to-day leadership and technical support to AR Representatives to ensure quality and productivity.
• Escalates complex billing, claims, payer, and account issues requiring advanced knowledge or resolution.
• Monitors team performance, identifies workflow improvements, and supports departmental initiatives.
• Coaches, mentors and trains team members while reinforcing best practices and process consistency.
• Maintains compliant account documentation in company systems.
• Leads or coordinates escalation projects to resolve high-priority accounts and client concerns.
• Investigates payer responses and updates patient accounts with accurate insurance information.
