Job summary

Aegis Sciences Corporation in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Business Analyst & Team Lead to analyze and optimize financial processes across patient registration, coding, billing, denials, and collections.

You will supervise Revenue Cycle Specialists and Analysts, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable strategies that enhance reimbursement outcomes and compliance. This role is primarily remote with onsite needs as required.

Qualifications

• Healthcare revenue cycle experience, including denials management.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and payer processes.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze denied claims, identify root causes, and reduce repeat denials.
• Review codes, billing information, payer policies, testing protocols, and documentation to support decisions.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate reimbursement decisions.
• Analyze revenue cycle data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop KPIs such as DSO, denial rates, and collection efficiency.
• Supervise Revenue Cycle Specialists and Analysts, coaching and reviewing deliverables.
• Translate findings into clear summaries and actionable next steps for stakeholders.
• Design and implement workflow changes and training programs.
