Job description

The M&A Accounting Operations team supports company-wide strategic initiatives such as business model transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and digital financial transformation.

Position: Senior Revenue Analyst

Reporting to the M&A Accounting Operations Senior Manager, this role supports revenue operations for mergers and acquisitions and performs traditional accounting tasks. The position is remote-friendly from anywhere in the USA.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in integrating acquired entities into the Autodesk ecosystem efficiently and automatically.
  2. Analyze accounting, reporting, and process implications of acquisitions and provide guidance.
  3. Perform monthly account analysis and reconciliations for M&A revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable.
  4. Prepare monthly journal entries in accordance with ASC 606.
  5. Support quarterly audit schedules and periodic reporting for internal and external needs.
  6. Document processes and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
  7. Participate in company-wide revenue accounting and order-to-cash projects.
  8. Draft technical accounting memos, especially regarding ASC 606 application.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience, combining public accounting and industry preferred.
  • Proactive, analytical, communicative, and technically skilled with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills; capable of working independently and in teams.
  • Experience with month-end/quarter-end closing, reconciliations, audits, and contract analysis under ASC 606.
  • Hands-on with accounting systems like SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, RevPro, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ASC 805 (Business Combinations).
  • CPA license.
  • Experience in the software industry.

Salary Transparency

Starting salary ranges from $79,400 to $136,950, based on experience and location. Compensation includes base salary, bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.
