Job description

The M&A Accounting Operations team supports company-wide strategic initiatives such as business model transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and digital financial transformation.

Position: Senior Revenue Analyst

This role reports to the M&A Accounting Operations Senior Manager and supports revenue operations for all mergers and acquisitions, along with traditional accounting tasks. The position is remote and open to candidates anywhere in the USA.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in integrating acquired entities into the Autodesk ecosystem efficiently and automatically.
2. Analyze accounting, reporting, and process impacts of acquisitions and provide guidance.
3. Perform monthly account analysis and reconciliations for M&A revenue, deferred revenue, and receivables.
4. Prepare monthly journal entries in line with ASC 606 standards.
5. Compile quarterly audit schedules and support internal and external reporting.
6. Develop and document processes, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
7. Participate in revenue accounting projects and order-to-cash cycles.
8. Draft technical accounting memos related to ASC 606.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably combining public accounting and industry roles.
3. Proactive, analytical, communicative, and technically skilled with a positive attitude.
4. Excellent communication skills, effective teamwork, and independent work abilities.
5. Experience with month-end and quarter-end closing, reconciliations, audits, and contract analysis under ASC 606.
6. Hands-on experience with accounting systems like SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or Rev Pro.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of ASC 805-Business Combinations.
2. CPA license.
3. Experience in the software industry.

Salary Transparency:

The starting salary range for U.S.-based roles is $79,400 to $136,950, depending on experience and location. Compensation includes base salary, bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.
