Overview

Consilio is currently seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst for our large law firm client in New York. This is a permanent, full-time, benefited position and will follow a hybrid work model (3 in/2 out). This role supports the firm's Accounting team by managing the office’s WIP and receivables ("inventory") to help the firm meet its financial goals. The role focuses on improving how revenue is tracked, collected, and managed—streamlining processes, enhancing attorney engagement, and reducing outstanding or delayed billing to minimize locked-up revenue.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the full revenue cycle for an assigned group of billing attorneys, ensuring timely billing, collections, and reporting.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Holding regular discussions with billing attorneys and their support teams to review Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), determine next steps, and help shorten collection cycles.
Providing attorneys with ongoing updates on items requiring follow-up or action.
Ensuring that all revenue processes and systems comply with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations, including VAT, the Criminal Finances Act, Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and anti-money laundering requirements.
Safeguarding sensitive financial, client, and proprietary information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications/Requirements

8+ years experience working in a legal or professional services environment including exposure to billing, VAT, and disbursements.
Experience working in a large law firm highly preferred.
Must have HS Diploma, college degree preferred.
Knowledge of 3E, CMS, or similar accounting systems.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
