Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to lead technical accounting for complex revenue streams and drive scalable processes. You will own ASC 606/842 positions, analyze contracts, and coach a team toward sound conclusions and efficient close cycles.

The role requires CPA, 8+ years of experience, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Project Controls, and Finance. This exempt, full-time role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
• Eight or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Deep US GAAP expertise, especially ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Strong contract review and analysis skills to identify accounting implications.
• Ability to independently research topics and document robust memoranda.
• Experience operationalizing processes and driving controls in fast-paced environments.
• Self-starter with ownership and ability to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Technical Accounting Mastery—be SME on GAAP guidance including ASC 606/842.
• Contract Analysis—evaluate terms affecting accounting conclusions.
• Aid team with critical thinking and independent problem solving.
• Cross-Functional Partnership—advise Legal, Project Controls, and Finance.
• Operationalization—design processes for billing, collections, reporting.
• Month-End Close Leadership—manage entries, reconciliations, analyses.
• Audit Management—interface with external auditors and document treatments.
• Continuous Improvement—drive internal controls and automation in revenue accounting.
