Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a highly motivated Manager of Revenue Accounting in Denver to own complex revenue streams. You will interpret complex agreements, apply ASC 606/842, and collaborate with Legal, Sales, Product, and Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will translate analyses into actionable operational processes for billing and close, drive automation, and work with auditors to maintain robust controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting experience a plus.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, ASC 606 and ASC 842, with complex transactions.
• Exceptional contract review and analysis skills with accounting implications.
• Proven ability to research technical accounting topics and document memos.
• Experience operationalizing accounting processes and driving efficiency.
• Self-starter with ownership and ability to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ownership of highly complex revenue streams and US GAAP conclusions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Product, and Finance to provide real-time accounting guidance.
• Serve as expert on ASC 606/842 and other GAAP guidance for unique transactions.
• Analyze contracts to identify critical accounting implications (e.g., pricing, financing, principal vs. agent).
• Translate accounting assessments into actionable processes for billing, collections, and reporting.
• Lead month-end close and reconciliations for revenue streams; support audits and documentation.
• Drive internal controls improvements and automation across revenue accounting.
