Job summary

Rogo is seeking a senior revenue accounting professional to own the contract-to-cash process. You will manage ASC 606 analysis, revenue close, deferred revenue, and contract costs while serving as the first line of defense for the revenue cycle audits.

You will review contracts, document performance obligations, and work with Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure data integrity from CRM to invoicing. A CPA and 6+ years in SaaS revenue are required.

Qualifications

• CPA is required.
• 6+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in SaaS or software revenue recognition.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 for complex arrangements (multi-element, usage-based, variable consideration).
• Experience with a revenue subledger or billing platform integrated with CRM; strong order-to-cash data flow awareness.
• Experience supporting external audits of the revenue cycle, including IPO readiness.
• Multi-entity or international billing exposure (multi-currency, cross-border invoicing).
• Excellent technical memo writing; able to defend positions with Big 4 teams.

Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts, amendments, and upsell; document performance obligations, transaction price, variable consideration and SSP positions in audit-ready memos.
• Own the monthly revenue close: revenue, deferred revenue and contract asset schedules, flux analysis, and reconciliations from billing subledger to GL; ARR to revenue bridge.
• Own commission capitalization and amortization under ASC 340-40.
• Ensure billing data integrity from CRM to invoice to revenue schedule; design and run order-to-cash controls with Sales and Revenue Ops.
• Manage outsourced AR specialist: invoicing accuracy, collections escalation, credit memos, disputes and remediation.
• Lead revenue-cycle audit support: PBC schedules, walkthroughs, disclosures, and technical position defense with auditors.
• Build revenue policy and process documentation as we scale.
