AlertMedia, a leading risk intelligence platform, seeks a Senior Technical Revenue Accountant to join the Finance team. The role focuses on ASC 606 revenue recognition, SSP development, and close processes.

Remote flexibility is offered with US-based candidates, including Austin, TX. Responsibilities include overseeing contract accounting, renewals, and net revenue reporting, while partnering with Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, and Legal to ensure compliant, scalable contract structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years in revenue accounting in SaaS or subscription business.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience owning monthly revenue close and deferred revenue reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting analysis for contracts, renewals, expansions, terminations.
• Research complex accounting issues and prepare memoranda on revenue recognition.
• Lead SSP methodology development and maintenance.
• Coordinate with auditors on revenue-related matters.
• Manage monthly revenue close, journal entries, reconciliations, schedules.
