Job summary

Equify Financial in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to own revenue recognition and related close activities within its lending and leasing environment. Reporting to the Controller, you will prepare revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules in line with U.S.

GAAP. The role emphasizes revenue accounting, system-to-general-ledger integrity, and collaboration with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least three years of progressive accounting experience including revenue recognition and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606/842 – Preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ability to analyze detailed data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA – Preferred.
• Experience with lending/lease environments and related systems – Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue recognition and related close activities within lending/leasing environment.
• Prepare and review revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Validate and document revenue conclusions and journal entries for audit readiness.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and prepare related schedules.
• Ensure system-to-general-ledger integrity; work with IT and operations on mappings.
• Support internal controls, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and cross-functional collaboration.
