Job summary

Equify Financial, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Fort Worth, TX to own revenue recognition and close activities within its lending and leasing environment. You will ensure accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting under U.S. GAAP, collaborating across finance and operations.

The role emphasizes revenue systems integrity, contract analysis, and process improvements to strengthen controls and close accuracy. A CPA is preferred, with 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years accounting experience incl. revenue recognition and close.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606/842.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and audit docs.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• CPA—preferred; experience with financial services a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue recognition and related close activities.
• Prepare and review revenue journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze contract terms and revenue timing, measurement, and presentation.
• Maintain documentation supporting revenue conclusions and entries.
• Execute month-end close and provide management reporting.
• Reconcile revenue activity to ledgers and resolve variances.
• Support audit requests and ensure U.S. GAAP compliance.
