Job summary

LeoForce in Houston is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant (Consultant) to lead revenue recognition, journal entries, and monthly close with a focus on energy industry services. You will audit, analyze production volumes and pricing, and advise clients on best practices.

The role requires 5+ years in revenue accounting, strong knowledge of Quorum and Wells, and CPA‑likely progress. This is a hybrid position with immediate need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in energy.
• Strong knowledge of Operated/Non-Operated Wells and Quorum systems.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; good communication.
• Proactive approach to identifying issues and improvements.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with financial software.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of revenue accounting, including journals.
• Audit revenue records and ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and finance on volumes, sales, pricing.
• Assist in new revenue recognition standards and procedures.
• Provide consulting on revenue accounting and reporting.
• Oversee monthly close for revenue transactions.
• Prepare and present financial analyses to management and clients.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
