Job summary

GrabAGun is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the day-to-day revenue and COGS accounting, ensuring proper recognition and audit-ready documentation. The role reports into Finance and focuses on the monthly close, reconciliations, and internal controls in a North Dallas on-site setting.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of accounting experience, solid US GAAP knowledge, and ERP exposure (NetSuite). This position suits those in fast-paced eCommerce or retail environments, with strong Excel skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or public company exposure.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on experience in revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Experience in eCommerce, retail, or inventory-driven businesses.
• Hands-on month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience supporting audits.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day revenue accounting process, including revenue journal entries such as deferred revenue, returns, refunds, and promotions.
• Perform monthly revenue reconciliations across sales channels and payment processors under ASC 606.
• Prepare and analyze COGS and inventory-related entries and reconciliations with Operations.
• Analyze revenue and margin variances month over month for management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Payment Processing teams to ensure proper coding and reporting.
• Prepare schedules for 10-Q/10-K filings and support external audits.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support SOX compliance initiatives and identify process improvements for revenue/COGS close.
