Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Senior Accountant, Revenue, to support revenue accounting for domestic and international operations under U.S. GAAP. The role focuses on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and contract reviews. The ideal candidate brings ASC 606 experience and strong analytical skills.

This position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and adherence to internal controls, with opportunities to advance within Revenue Accounting leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2 years of accounting experience, including familiarity with ASC 606, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Ability to execute in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with revenue-related journal entries, accruals and schedules.
• Prepare and analyze recurring revenue accounting activities and related documentation.
• Prepare or review assigned account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare reserve analyses and related schedules.
• Analyze revenue results with cross-functional teams and explain variances.
• Run Oracle Fusion reports supporting revenue, project accounting, billing and GL activity.
• Support customer contract reviews and ASC 606 considerations.
• Assist with SOX, internal/external audits and internal controls.
