Job summary

Omnicell, Inc. seeks a Sr. Revenue Analyst to join our Finance team in Grapevine, TX. You will apply GAAP and ASC 606, collaborate with FP&A and SEC Reporting to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting.

You will support monthly close, analyze revenue trends, manage schedules, and help optimize NetSuite-based processes while upholding internal controls and compliance milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with exposure to revenue recognition principles.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue accounting requirements.
• Experience analyzing large data sets and resolving financial discrepancies promptly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses to ensure revenue is recognized in compliance with GAAP and ASC 606.
• Prepare and maintain revenue recognition schedules and deferred revenue analyses.
• Support and optimize NetSuite Revenue Accounting platform for data integrity.
• Review revenue allocations in NetSuite and explain changes.
• Prepare revenue-related schedules and reporting packages for SEC and executives.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with forecasting and variance analyses.
• Monitor revenue trends, investigate anomalies, and provide insights to management.
• Analyze pricing, billing, customer demand, and market conditions to support recommendations.
• Audit billing transactions and invoice processing for contractual compliance.
• Review customer contracts for performance obligations and revenue allocation needs.
• Partner with FP&A to support accrual objectives and forecasting accuracy.
• Assist with internal/external audits and prepare supporting schedules.
• Contribute to process improvement and ad hoc analyses for efficiency.
• Stay current on ASC 606 guidance and best practices.
