Job summary

Nourish, a fast-growing digital health company, seeks a Senior Revenue Accountant to own revenue accounting as we scale. You will build scalable monthly close processes, prepare journal entries, and ensure audit-ready workpapers, partnering with Finance and Revenue Cycle teams.

You should have 3–5+ years of accounting experience, US GAAP knowledge, and a knack for data analysis and automation. This full-time role is based in NYC with flexible remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month-end close, and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for revenue.
• Prepare journal entries and revenue-related reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Analyze new revenue arrangements and propose accounting treatments.
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers and schedules for audits.
• Use data analysis to investigate variances and validate numbers.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements in revenue and billing workflows.
• Evaluate AI tools and automation to speed up processes without compromising accuracy.
• Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, and Engineering teams on cross-functional tasks.
