Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Retrofit Engineer in Rancho Bernardo, CA to lead long-range retrofit planning and field installations for weapon system upgrades. You will act as the Product Support representative for aircraft, ground station, and spares modifications, coordinating with customers and IPTs.

The role requires a STEM degree with retrofit/production experience, strong communication skills, and a current or obtainable US Secret clearance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field or higher with required years of experience.
• Field retrofit or aircraft sortie production experience is required.
• Proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel 75% to domestic and international locations.
• Current active US Government Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Mansioni

• Drive retrofit completion in the field with customers, contractors, engineering and teams to meet schedule.
• Resolve field challenges and develop strategies to mitigate delays.
• Coordinate with Retrofit Team during planning, scheduling and execution phases of retrofits.
• Provide observations to Engineering to improve retrofit outcomes and ensure quality.
