Job summary

Empower Careers is hiring a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver retirement and financial wellness guidance to plan participants. You will lead discussions, present options, and deepen relationships through proactive, personalized engagement across employer-sponsored plans.

The role requires strong planning skills, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to manage inbound/outbound calls in a fast-paced environment. Some positions may be remote or hybrid depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 2+ years in financial services or advisory environments.
• Proven success in sales.
• Knowledge of IRAs and retirement products.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proficient in Windows and Office; familiarity with Salesforce.
• FINRA 7 & 66 registrations required.
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to questions about plans and policies.
• Explain policies and procedures clearly and accurately.
• Retain assets through education and guidance on plan options.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications of retirement options.
• Deliver optimal solutions in every interaction.
• Collaborate with teammates to solve problems and drive results.
• Use tools to identify best options for retirement planning.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
