Job summary

Schwab Retirement Technologies seeks a Senior Product Owner with deep retirement recordkeeping and defined contribution experience. You will shape digital experiences for participants, sponsors, and advisors, translating complex requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

You will collaborate with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to align features with plan provisions, data accuracy, and transaction processing, ensuring high-value retirement solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Product Owner/PM/BA or Agile delivery with retirement recordkeeping domain

Responsibilities

• Own, prioritize, and maintain the Agile team backlog for retirement participant digital experiences.
• Translate plan provisions and recordkeeping requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineers, UX, and QA to deliver web and mobile experiences integrated with retirement systems.
• Lead participant web experiences, dashboards, and self-service journeys.
• Apply retirement domain knowledge during discovery to identify pain points and improvements across enrollment, contributions, elections, loans, distributions, and servicing.
• Collaborate with clients, participants, operations, compliance, and vendors to validate requirements and incorporate insights into product decisions.
• Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning to ensure predictable delivery and backlog health.
• Monitor product performance and servicing issues to drive enhancements for transaction clarity and self-service.
