Job summary

Empower is seeking a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to provide retirement and financial wellness guidance to participants in employer-sponsored plans. You will guide them through decision points, support managed accounts, and deepen relationships through proactive engagements.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning acumen, be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling inbound and outbound calls with solid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 2+ years in financial services or advisory.
• Proven success in sales.
• Understanding of IRAs and qualified retirement plans.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under stress.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn Empower's record keeping system and Salesforce.
• FINRA 7 & 66 registrations required.
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to plan and policy questions.
• Relay accurate information and provide clear communication of policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance of plan options.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications of retirement options.
• Deliver optimal solutions to customers in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to problem solve and deliver results.
• Use tools and services to identify best retirement-planning options.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
