Empower seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to provide retirement and financial wellness advice within employer-sponsored plans. You will guide participants through decision points, educate on managed accounts, and deepen relationships with proactive, personalized engagements that support long‑term financial wellbeing.

The successful candidate enjoys helping customers achieve retirement goals, is a self-starter with strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and professional work experience
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments
• Demonstrated success in sales
• Good understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services and the qualified retirement plan environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce
• IAR registration via Series 65 or equivalent, FINRA fingerprinting on hire

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to plan and policy questions
• Relay accurate information and clear communication of policies and procedures
• Retain assets through education and guidance of plan options
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications of retirement assets
• Deliver optimal solutions in every interaction
• Collaborate with peers to problem solve and deliver results
• Use tools to identify best retirement planning options for customers
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals
