Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Senior Analyst of Retirement Planning in Houston to design, govern, and continually improve the company’s qualified and non-qualified retirement programs, with primary focus on the 401(k) plan and profit-sharing arrangements.

The role demands extensive 401(k) administration experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate complex retirement concepts for employees at all levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience administering large and/or complex 401(k) plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, IRS and DOL requirements.
• Experience with 401(k) plan operations, compliance testing, payroll reconciliations, and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Administer defined contribution retirement programs including 401(k) and profit-sharing plans.
• Ensure ERISA and IRS/DOL compliance for retirement plans.
• Coordinate with Payroll and HRIS for data integration.
• Prepare and reconcile plan data, reports, and participant transactions.
• Support Workday implementation and retirement planning optimization.
• Prepare Form 5500 filings and plan disclosures.
• Analyze plan data and develop recurring/ad hoc management reports.
