Job summary

KBR Retirement Plans Senior Specialist in Houston supports U.S. retirement programs, including defined contribution and defined benefit plans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.

You will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance and vendors to manage day‑to‑day plan activities, data integrity, and regulatory filings while driving process improvements within a global benefits framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR, business, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of retirement plans or total rewards experience.
• Experience in a multinational or complex organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer U.S. retirement programs, including defined contribution and defined benefit plans.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Finance and HRIS to ensure accurate data flow.
• Oversee enrollments, contributions, distributions, and plan changes.
• Resolve employee inquiries and issues related to retirement plans and vendor coordination.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance and HRIS to ensure accurate data flow, contributions processing, and reconciliation.
• Ensure ERISA compliance and prepare filings (e.g., Form 5500) and audit readiness.
• Lead annual compliance activities, including plan audits, testing, and contribution reviews.
• Assist with retirement plan communications and employee education materials.
