Energy Transfer in Houston is seeking a Senior Analyst of 401(k) Administration & Retirement Planning to lead design, administration, and governance of the company's retirement programs, with primary responsibility for the 401(k) plan and profit-sharing.

The role requires extensive 401(k) operations experience and strong analytical skills, plus the ability to clearly communicate complex plan concepts to employees and leadership.

Qualifications

• Senior level: 5+ years administering large/complex 401(k) plans; 8+ years for Lead level.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRC, IRS and DOL requirements for qualified defined contribution plans.
• Experience with 401(k) operations, compliance testing, payroll reconciliations, and recordkeeper coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex retirement concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support defined contribution plans including 401(k) and profit-sharing.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRC, IRS and DOL rules.
• Coordinate with Payroll and HRIS for data integration.
• Assist with payroll deductions, employer contributions, and enrollment data.
• Prepare annual Form 5500 filings and related disclosures.
• Analyze plan data and develop recurring and ad hoc reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve plan administration and data quality.
