Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, wealth management, or an advisory environment.
• Demonstrated success in a sales or consultative environment.
• Strong understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services, and qualified retirement plans.
• Excellent communication, listening, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 66, Series 7 and Series 63/65, or Series 65 registration required.
• FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen customer relationships through personalized, consultative service.
• Respond to retirement plan, policy, and account-related questions with professionalism, empathy, patience, and accuracy.
• Educate customers on retirement distribution, rollover, IRA, and plan-specific options.
• Help customers understand the benefits of participating in an employer-sponsored retirement plan or utilizing an IRA versus taking retirement assets as cash, including applicable tax considerations.
• Provide education and guidance regarding available distribution options to help retain retirement assets.
• Conduct both inbound and outbound customer interactions and proactively follow up on customer needs.
• Guide customers through retirement-planning decisions and help identify appropriate solutions based on their individual circumstances.
• Partner with colleagues across the organization to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Leverage available tools and resources to identify appropriate retirement-planning strategies.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience during every interaction.
• Meet established monthly and annual sales and service objectives.
• Work onsite in the Denver office.
